EAST HARPENDEN GARDENING CLUB

EAST HARPENDEN GARDENING CLUB

EHGC is actively looking for new members. In order to help out, I created a number of case study films that show the gardeners on their plots and speak about the challenges and benefits of growing your own vegetables.

Additionally, I led the development of their new website - you can see it here.

Jonathan’s Allotment

Jonathan is a graphics designer and an experienced gardener. I filmed him and his family on a beautiful summer evening and spoke to him about gardening.

Heather’s Plot

Heather and her grandson often come to the allotment. A short interview and shots of the family resulted in a short film that gives an idea of what it is like to own an allotment.

I love it. I hope it encourages more people to get an allotment. Toby and I thoroughly enjoyed making the film with you. Thank you.

Plot 31 Community Garden

I am passionate about supporting community projects and was excited to make a film for the Plot 31 - a community garden. I interviewed the members and captured their afternoon.

I have just watched the film for the first time and was really really nervous but it is perfect! Really captures what we are about, some stunning photography and, of course, our wonderful volunteer gardeners. It has made the initial digging in the mud and February rain and trudging across to the plot with endless barrows of compost absolutely worth it.

EHGC Summer Tour

As a part of this project, I have created an overview film that gives the viewer a chance to see what the gardening club offers to the community.
