ABI SPENDLOVE
I met Abi at the Hat Factory and as I got to know her, I began persuading her to create a film. Seeing her work and process, I felt that medium of film would introduce her art to the audience. Abi has a clear vision of what her practice is about and it was a pleasure to create this film together. It is a piece that I am most proud of and I hope you like it too!
The film
It’s a short documentary style film that introduces Abi and her work through an interview and shots of her making art. As you’ll see, process of making is important to Abi, therefore I implemented a few techniques to show it. The work itself made me think of space, so I chose ambient music track composed by Stellardrone.
