BUTTERFLY EFFECT

I was excited to be invited to create a promotional film for a local artist Moriam Grillo. Project focuses on telling the stories of women who have been through very touch times and the ways they overcame the obstacles. Additionally, a full film (multi-cam edit) of the entire performance was created for documentation purposes.

This particular piece is performed by Laura Lloyd. I approached this project with the idea that the short promotional film should reflect the entire experience of the full piece. Therefore, I filmed this in a sort of abstract way to create an almost jarring, dynamic feeling as the piece itself is very emotional and can take unexpected turns.
